HONOLULU: The nine leaders of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) have agreed to the completion of a broad agreement of the text for a free trade deal by July 2012.
US President Barack Obama, who made the announcement after hosting the first ever leaders meeting of the TPP here on Saturday, said the pact will secure prosperity for the region by increasing region-wide trade and investment as well as boost exports and create jobs in members economies.
