PUTRAJAYA: Kota Siputeh assemblyman Abu Hassan Sarif will be barred from attending the Kedah State Assembly until the disposal of an appeal against a court ruling in upholding his (Abu Hassan) position as assemblyman.
This follows a decision of the Appellate Court on Wednesday to allow an application by Kedah Speaker Dr Abdul Isa Ismail for a stay of the court's ruling that Abu Hassan was still the assemblyman for Kota Siputeh.
