KUALA LUMPUR: The Higher Education Ministry is making amendments to the Private Institution of Higher Learning (IPTS) Act to allow for sterner action, including higher fines, on private universities for various offences.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said, the amendments are expected to be presented in Parliament next year.
