Tweetup shatters Guinness World Records

PETALING JAYA: In five hours, event organisers of the second October Tweet Festival (OctTwtFest) achieved their target of breaking the Guinness World Records for the most number of check-ins at a Tweetup.

Organisers WAGO, Churp Churp, Rain Dough and Reka and venue host DiGi had aimed to break Detroit American football player Ndamukong Suh's record of 1,935 check-ins at a Tweetup, which is a gathering of people who are connected through Twitter.
