KUALA LUMPUR: The Finance Ministry is in discussions with financial institutions to determine the household income level of couples who intend to buy houses under the My First Home scheme.
Deputy Minister of Finance Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai said a review of the RM3,000 eligibility level of household income was necessary as no mention of it was made during the Budget when the price limit for houses under the scheme was increased from RM220,000 to RM400,000.
