KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government is prepared to foot the bill for any medical treatment required by Siamese twins Nur Shazwanie and Nur Shazrinie Zulkifli.
Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the state government would cover any medical expenses or surgery.
He added that the twins, who were joined at the chest, needed help as their father Zulkifli Ngah, 41, was only a fishmonger.
“Furthermore, Siamese twin births are rare,” he told reporters after the state executive council meeting here yesterday.
Ahmad also hoped for a safe outcome.
