A BACKBENCHER left in a huff during the debate on the Restricted Residence (Repeal) Bill after Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia refused to direct Pokok Sena MP Datuk Mahfuz Omar to retract remarks deemed seditious.
Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (BN-Pasir Salak) had objected to Pandikar Amin’s decision, in which the latter said that he had many times in the past directed an MP to retract a statement.
