KUALA LUMPUR: The Indian High Commission here announced Tuesday revised guidelines and documents for the employment of skilled and unskilled workers from India, effective Nov 1, that includes a minimum wage of RM800 a month.
Restaurant, construction and general workers, categorised as unskilled workers, should be paid a minimum wage of RM800 a month while plantation workers, including farm workers, should be paid RM850 a month.
