KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has promised an investigation into allegations by Bentayan assemblyman Gwee Tiong Hiang that he had been enticed to leave DAP.
“In politics, we sometimes make jokes and ask our Opposition friends to join us in Barisan Nasional. I do not know how serious the allegation is, but we will investigate,” he said, adding that he was not aware of any attempt by the ruling party to “reward” Gwee.
