New Deals scheme inspires better performance


KUALA LUMPUR: In a recent television interview, Education Ministry Deputy Director-General of Education (Teacher Develop­ment Professionalism Sector) Sufa’at Tumin disclosed New Deals, which was an incentive programme under the GTP’s Edu­cation NKRA that aims to ultimately improve the quality of students’ outcome.

Sufa’at said the New Deals incentive was one of the four initia- tives under the Education NKRA that rewarded principals and head of schools, along with their teaching staff, for signifi- cantly improving their respective school’s performances.
