KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat’s gag order on the controversial hudud issue shows that it is inconsistent in its stand and push for transparency, said Umno supreme council member Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir.
“I find it ironic that on the one hand it is pushing for more transparency, but on the other it has the tendency to ban some media representatives from covering its press conferences or gag its own people from making statements,” the Kedah Umno deputy chief said yesterday.
