KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has set Oct 4 to hear PAS vice-president Datuk Mahfuz Omar's suit against the police and Government for alleged wrongful arrest and detention during the July 9 illegal rally.
Judge Harminder Singh Dhaliwal fixed the date in chambers Monday, after meeting with senior federal counsel Iznan Izhak, who represented the defendants, and Mahfuz's lawyer Muhammad Faiz Fadzil.
