Bus driver jailed four years in accident that killed 10 people


IPOH: The driver of an ill-fated express bus (Sani Ekspres), which crashed and killed 10 passengers two years ago, was sentenced to four years imprisonment and fined RM10,000 or six months jail in default by a traffic court here Wednesday.

Magistrate Mohamed Ruhizat Abdullah, who ruled that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubt, also suspended the driving licence of Mohd Kamil Mohd Rashid for three years.
