Laws needed to check glue-sniffing: Lam Thye

KUANTAN: Legislation is needed to make glue-sniffing a crime because it is becoming a serious matter with those as young as 12 years-old found to be involved in the activity, said Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) vice-chairman, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.

"We've received information that there are 12 year-old kids who get together, like having a party, to sniff glue," he told reporters after a meeting with Pahang police chief, Datuk Sharifudin Abdul Ghani here Monday.
