KUALA LANGAT: As a child, he lived with 14 siblings and their family was the poorest one in their village. The hard life, however, drove Datuk Ibrahim Osman (pic) to help others in the same position so he founded Rumah Amal Anak Yatim Yayasan Pembangunan Insan Nasional (YPIN) in Kampung Sungai Manggis here.
“Although we weren't orphans. I had the experience of having only a meal a day,” he said, adding that his objective in founding the home was to adopt less fortunate children and teach them to be independent.
