KUALA LUMPUR: The Government hopes to save hundreds of millions of ringgit with the implementation of the Good Governance for Medicines Programme.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Hasan Rahman said expenditure on drugs in the government sector last year was RM1.6bil, and they were targetting savings of between 10% and 20% a year after the programme was implemented.
