Set up council to prevent fights, says Maznah

KUANTAN: Employers with foreign workers should set up joint community councils to resolve disputes and prevent clashes between workers.

Deputy Human Resources Minister Datuk Maznah Mazlan, who was referring to the near riot involving some 200 foreign workers at Recron (M) Sdn Bhd, Nilai on Monday, said such councils could prevent workers from taking matters into their own hands when conflicts arose.
