Hulu Langat tragedy: It was a disaster in the making

HULU LANGAT: There were several signs of an impending landslide at Saturday's disaster area that claimed 16 lives, according to a Public Works Department's initial data.

Department slope engineering branch director Datuk Dr Ashaari Mohamad said they found old cracks on the concrete apron around the orphanage's compound.
