ALOR SETAR: The Alor Setar City Council (MBAS) building in Jalan Kolam Air here was sealed for about two hours after the council failed to come to an agreement over the payment of about RM750,000 to a private company for the supply of power reduction devices.
It was sealed from about 12.30pm to about 2.30pm after High Court bailiff Hamid Man served a writ of seizure and sale on Alor Setar Mayor Datuk Khazali Din at 10am yesterday.
