SEREMBAN: A Chinese national claiming to hold a student card from Universiti Malaya was among 15 guest relation officers (GROs) arrested in an anti-vice raid in Taman AST here.

The woman was arrested at one of the two entertainment outlets raided in Ops Noda on Tuesday night, said Bukit Aman police spokesman ASP Wiryanti Wahid.

“The Chinese nationals arrested are between 18 and 40 years old. We also arrested their madam, a woman from China,” she said after the raid.

Police believe that the women were also engaged in prostitution.

ASP Wiryanti said the raiding team also found a concealed compartment that could accommodate 18 people. — Bernama
