Judicial Commissioner Choong Siew Khim fixed the date after hearing submissions from DPP Aiza Khairuddin and the victim Thng Boon Siang's counsel Pardeep Singh, Surindar Singh, Baldip Singh and Ranjit Singh Sandhu.
