JAKARTA: Malaysia has expressed shock over the decision of an Indonesian court in Bengkalis to mete out a harsh sentence against six Malaysian fishermen who were charged with encroaching into the republic’s water.
The fishermen were sentenced to 30 months’ jail and fined RM350,000 each in default another three months’ jail.
