KUALA LUMPUR: Tensions ran high ahead of the much touted sumpah laknat ceremony at a mosque here in which businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah swore that the man seen in a sex video that had intrigued the nation was Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Amru Al-As mosque in Bandar Baru Sentul was crowded after Friday prayers as many waited for Eskay and two others former Malacca chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik and former Perkasa treasurer-general Datuk Shuaib Lazim to arrive for the event.
