PETALING JAYA: The Road Safety Department has begun talks with tyre manufacturers to develop a grading system to weed out dealers who have been selling regrooved tyres to customers.
Its director-general Datuk Suret Singh said the move was to help prevent customers from being misled into buying regrooved tyres that were sold at low prices.
