PUTRAJAYA: The allegedly 'fake' eggs seized from the Pulau Tikus wet market in Penang were merely deformed or rejected ones not cleared for sale to consumers, Veterinary Services Department director-general Datuk Dr Abd Aziz Jamaluddin said.
This was based on the department's own tests, he added.
