PETALING JAYA: The image of people captured on CCTV or spycam may appear 15% to 20% larger if they are closer to the camera, said an audiovisual specialist.
Salleh Abdullah, who has technical experience in the film industry, said such distortion occurred because small cameras like CCTV or spycam were not equipped with that many components as a video camera to minimise the distortion.
