KLANG: The “golden” retirement plans of five kidnappers were dashed when police closed in on them within minutes of the release of their victim.
Selangor police chief Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah said the five, comprising a former Malaysia Air lines air steward and four Nepali men, had demanded 10 gold bars worth RM1.44mil for the release of the 62-year-old director of a security firm.
