PUTRAJAYA: PAS is “forced” to reassure the Malays that it will protect their interests after realising that the community’s support for the party and Pakatan Rakyat has dwindled, Barisan Nasional secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said.
He said the assurance given by PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat showed that the party and its Pakatan partners were troubled by the decline in Malay support.
