SEPANG: The government has evacuated 8,341 Malaysians from strife-torn Egypt under the exercise codenamed "Ops Piramid", Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Richard Riot said Monday.
The number included 439 people who flew in here by Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH8031 Monday morning, he told reporters after greeting the last batch of students who had flown in to the KL International Airport here from Jeddah.
