TEMERLOH: Two men armed with a pistol robbed a goldsmith of about RM600,000 in jewellery.

The robbers dashed into the shop in Lurah Semantan Dua, here, at about 2pm on Friday and ordered the owner and three other workers not to raise the alarm.

One of the robbers then ordered a worker to empty eight trays of jewellery into a bag, grabbed some cash from a safe deposit box and fled in a car driven by an accomplice.

The 10-minute heist was captured on the outlet’s CCTV system.

Pahang CID chief Senior Asst Comm T. Narenasagaran said police were looking at the CCTV footage to facilitate investigations.
