KUALA LUMPUR: The MCA will convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) next month to allow its central delegates to decide whether to postpone its party elections due the same month.
Party president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said the resolution – to postpone the party elections which are due 36 months after the last general election, and then to convene the party elections within six months after the next general election – would be tabled at the EGM.
