JOHOR BARU: An Indonesian estate worker was sentenced to 13 years’ jail after he pleaded guilty to culpable homicide of a countryman at a Session’s Court here.
Misran Bani, 24, was accused of causing the death of his friend Rustam Salim at a house near an oil palm plantation at Sungai Masai at around 2am on Dec 5, 2008, together with the victim’s wife, Suriyani Samad, 26, who is also Indonesian.
