IPOH: A self-employed businessman who was alleged to have beaten his 18-month-old toddler with a belt and thrown him on the bed faces three charges.
Perak CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Dzuraidi Ibrahim said the 54-year-old man could be charged under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt to the boy and two charges for criminal intimidation and causing hurt to his wife.
