Sultan yet to grant audience to Khalid

PETALING JAYA: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s request to seek an audience with the Sultan today over the controversial appointment of a new state secretary has yet to be granted.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had not consented to the request that was submitted last week, as the Tuanku was on leave until yesterday, said an aide from the office of the Mentri Besar.
