Ex-Sime Darby senior manager charged with bribery (Updated)

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Engineering former senior manager Mazhazni Jamaludin, 36, has claimed trial to obtaining a RM200,000 bribe over the contract for three barges worth USD134.2mil two years ago.

He was accused of obtaining the money from MLC Shipbuildings Sdn Bhd owner Redzuan Goh Mohamad Karian, as reward for proposing a contract to build and sell the barges at MLC Shipbuildings office in Kulala Lumpur between 1.25pm and 5pm on Dec 31, 2008.
