“Over the same period, 1,441 cases of sexual harassment were reported with Johor leading at 216 cases.” Perlis recorded the lowest with 20 cases.
Between January and August, 119, c or 5%, of the rape cases had been brought to court.
“As for sexual harassment cases, 73 cases, or 5%, had been brought to court,” he said.
Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said RM2.09bil was spent to maintain roads in Selangor, Penang, Kelantan and Kedah between 2007 and Sept 30, 2010.
He told Kok that RM1.15bil was spent to maintain state roads in Selangor alone during that period.
