JOHOR BARU: A Johor Health Department officer was fined RM5,000 by a Sessions Court here after he pleaded guilty to two counts of bribery.
Tahrim Darus, 49, was accused of receiving a RM200 bribe as an inducement to let factory owner Muhammad Fuad Maheswaran off without being issued a summons for breeding mosquito larvae on the factory grounds on July 24, 2007.
