Tharmendran files habeas corpus writ to seek release from detention


KUALA LUMPUR: Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) sergeant N. Tharmendran, who is facing a charge of abetting in the theft of two F5 jet engines, filed on Friday a habeas corpus writ to seek his release from the detention.

The 42-year-old, who is facing a charge of abetting in the theft of two F5 jet engines, was re-arrested by the RMAF on Thursday after attending a hearing at a Shah Alam High Court.
