PETALING JAYA: The recently launched Bus Express Transit 5 (BET 5) plying the Rawang–Central Market (Pasar Seni) route is expected to cut travel time by up to 23%, according to the Transport Ministry.
Ministry lead NKRA (National Key Results Area) coordinator Ruhaizah Mohamed Rashid said BET, a system under the Government Transformation Programme (GTP), aimed to shorten travel time for chosen routes and will see buses utilising existing highways to link heavily populated areas and the city centre.
