Motion on trials rejected

AN emergency motion to discuss a legal provision that trials in the Special Court involving Rulers are to be held in camera, was rejected by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.

He dismissed the application by Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) in chambers, explaining that the matter had already been explained by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz on Nov 10.
