PUTRAJAYA: Flood victims are advised to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and ensure the cleanliness of their surroundings to prevent catching infectious diseases.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said while there were no reports of outbreaks in the flood-affected areas of Kedah and Perlis, care needed to be taken to prevent the public from being infected with diseases such as dengue, cholera and leptospirosis.
