HANOI: Malaysia has asked partners of the East Asian Summit (EAS) for their views and support for an initiative to create a ‘Global Movement of the Moderates’ to isolate extremists and terrorists worldwide.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak told the 16 member states attending the 5th EAS that Malaysia was currently laying the groundwork for the development, promotion and operationalisation of the idea.
