PETALING JAYA: The various steps taken to fight corruption have seen progress although the effort is not significantly reflected in the Transparency International (TI) ranking, said a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
TI’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI) had reported that Malaysia ranked 56th out of 178 countries, the same as it did in 2009.
