Peak-hour wait time on Kelana Jaya Line LRT reduced by 28%

KUALA LUMPUR: The deployment of 40 trains along the Kelana Jaya Line LRT during peak hours has reduced the waiting time by 28%, from 3.3 minutes to 2.37 minutes.

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) group managing director Shahril Mokhtar said it bettered an earlier pledge to reduce train frequency from 3.3 minutes to 2.5 minutes after 25 trains arrive in April 2011.
