KUALA LUMPUR: Election fever is set to take over at the 61st Umno General Assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre here as the party and Barisan Nasional prepare to do battle in two by-elections.
Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor “sounded the bugle” at the international forum organised in conjunction with the Umno General Assembly, by saying that, “Barisan must wrest control of Galas and defend Batu Sapi,” to boost its morale for the next general election.
