KOTA KINABALU: Sabah wants to rehabilitate logged forest areas measuring nearly 20 times the size of Penang island in the coming two decades.
State Forestry Department director Datuk Sam Mannan said plans had been drawn up for the restoration work of some 500,000ha of logged over forests that would largely encompass the Yayasan Sabah timber concessions.
