MIRI: A pre-flooding trial run will be carried out at the Bakun dam in Belaga as early as this week.
The trial run will involve the actual closing of the gates at the three river diversion tunnels along the Balui River to find out how well they can withstand the force of the river currents behind the main dam wall.
