NEW YORK: Malaysia is prepared to work with the United States to fend off Islamophobia among Americans so that they will have a better understanding of the faith and dispel negative perceptions about it.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he conveyed the matter to US President Barack Obama during his appearance at the second Asean-US meeting here on Friday. The first meeting was held in Singapore last year.
