BINTULU: Bintulu Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing will seek federal government aid to dredge the heavily silted Kemena river here to prevent Bintulu from being hit by floods as Sibu was recently.
He said he would raise the matter with Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah Embas to request an allocation for the dredging works.
