MIRI: Relief aid is being rushed deep into the interior of Belaga district in central Sarawak in Borneo to help the 500 Penans from two locations left homeless after fire razed their homes.
Several groups of people are coordinating the deployment of food and material aid - Hulu Rejang MP Datuk Billy Abit Joo and his service centre workers, Belaga state assemblyman Liwen Lagang and his community centre workers and also the Belaga Catholic Parish.
